Diary - August 2013
A scorching July
What a fabulous July! A hugely productive time in the garden and poly tunnel, if not working the horses. Dare I say, too hot sometimes?!
A celebration for the culmination of the Horsey Coursey (as it became known) was held at the local Castle Coaching Inn. Great fun was had by all!
Enjoying a hot, relaxing time, although the flies can be a bit pesky!
Firefly is now advertised for sale, after a few weeks of "tweeking" her flatwork and jumping, she is absolutely lovely. Please see here for more pics. Please contact me for more details of Firefly.
Two additions to our Chicken collection - two young Buff Orpington chicks. The resident ladies, however, are proving less than welcoming to the newcomers...
Fluffy and Oscar continue to keep the farm vermin free and welcoming, respectively!
A recent guest comprised a very nice Section D stallion who was competing at the wonderful Royal Welsh Show near to us. He did extremely well in his classes (unlike the unlucky contender caught in this shot, whose stirrup leather decided to give way at a crucial moment!).
